Olive Grove Charter School provides a voluntary alternative public educational choice for families of students in grades TK-8 who choose to educate their students primarily at home under the close supervision of their parents/guardians.
In TK-5, parents/guardians are the primary deliverers of the educational program and as such, are actively involved in working alongside their students.
In 6-8, students who are able may work more independently, but parents/guardians still play a key role in their child’s educational program.
TK-5 students participate in virtual synchronous instruction provided by a certificated teacher on a daily basis.
Parents/guardians and students meet with a certificated teacher on a weekly basis.
The certificated teacher provides families with online curriculum, educational materials, and weekly learning assignments to ensure students meet the California educational standards.
Olive Grove Charter School educates all students in grades TK-12 and offers an online-based curriculum.
